        Hello,

I need some help with the interpretation of the Amplitude Stability Graph.

The file I attach corresponds to a plot created from the results of Small Area Processing,in the geocoding section. Which are the points which actually show the Amplitude Index? The small red dots? What do the other points mean?

        Thank you.

        Santiago

          Santiago,

first of all, the amplitude stability index is a single number which gives a statistical property of the amplitude series. So, you cannot generate an amplitude stability time series, and those points are not amplitude stability values.
That said, in that picture you see the following things:
          – big colored dots: the actual amplitude values
          – magenta circles: amplitude model values
          – small red dots: amplitude model values, only the time-temperature component.
Here you are using a complex model for the amplitude time series, function of baseline, doppler, time, temperature.
Full description of the amplitude model:

            Hi Daniele,

Yes, you are right! I confused the terms. I know that what I’m seeing are amplitude values,

Thanks for the description and the info,
            S
