<p>I wanted to report an issue with the &#8220;Grab Area&#8221; feature (subset dataset extraction → selection and extraction). It doesn’t seem to be working as expected. Regardless of the area selected, the system assigns the value 1 to each corner.<br />
The extraction works correctly only when the values are entered and filled in manually.</p>

In other words, they must be in the same conditions of the S1A/B images and  not in other subfolders. Also, be sure that you are not renaming the uncompressed folders containing the images.<br />

yes, the multi-looking factors helps adjusting the size of pixels with the intent to make them symmetric.<br />
And of course you are right that increasing the size of the filter in one dimension for un-symmetric pixels would make perfect sense. When I use APS option parameter R (and DSF) I can control the spatial scale of the atmospheric residuals (e.g. R is 150). However when we use Sentinel-1 the pixel spacing is approx. 4 m in range and 20 m in azimuth. indeed, there is no pre-defined section to explicitly export filtered amplitude images. We planned to implement it, but it was left behind because not much used, this is probably the first time we are asked.<br />
Anyway, you can still do it in a couple of ways.<br />
