Dear all, Daniele,
2 weeks ago, a large underground quarry (near the surface) collapsed.
I have already processed the area with a standard PS approach using ERS and ENVISAT data to see if something was already happening in the past.
But as it is a field area, I have not any PS in my results.Any suggestions? How does Quasi-PS works?
Thanks for…[Read more]

Dear Ana,
Indeed the area should be larger – don’t worry to extend it. To check the small area (after you prepare project using bigger area), there is special Toolbox in Sarproz called Small Area Processing. It works very well!

download the last pcodes (through the “manage version” module), I included a version check and an automatic choice between flip and flipdim

You mean I should rename the MATLAB system function file “flipdim”?
But I found three flipdim.m files in MATLAB, which one should I choose?

periz replied to the topic "set orbits" error in the forum Sarproz Forum 10 years, 2 months ago
this is a new matlab function: flip.
if you get an error, it means u do not have it, that is, u have an older matlab
I’ll insert a simple version check.
U can quickly solve it by copying and renaming the function “flipdim” to “flip” -

Thank you,professor.
I download a new version instead of the old one and the problem has been solved. But another problem is coming when I clicked “master extraction”…
THis zip file included lasterror.mat and log file

periz replied to the topic "set orbits" error in the forum Sarproz Forum 10 years, 2 months ago
IMPORTANT NOTE:
to upload mat and log files, please zip them.
Without them I cannot track the error
Anyway, I guess that you did not download the last sw version, did you?
To do so, use the “manage version” module.
I think that that error was a temporarily caused by a sw update and it was already fixed…

Hi Ana,
the size you have chosen is even smaller than the (default) reference window used for the coregistration (64 pixels as you can see in the coregistration parameters).
Maybe if you make those numbers match it will work (I never tested the smaller possible area to coregister).
Usually, even for test or educational purposes, we take bigger…[Read more] -

Hi,Professor Daniele,
During the Radarsat-2 images were imported , in the “SLC DATA processing” module, after I clicked the “set orbits”,there was always an error occuring so that process couldn’t continue.
I uploaded the “lasterror.mat” file and log file.
Hope your reply!
Thanks! -

Dear Prof.Daniele
I have some problem for small area processing. I use 20 ASAR image. If I choose interest area and try processing for co-registration, the matlab comment show me message that my area too small to match.
And how is minimum area can be processed by SARPROZ software?
Please find attach file below.Best Regards,

Dear gypsophila1 – please, if you have question, use Forum -> Create new topic, instead of “post update”. And the problem is that you should first make some “new project folder”, for example /media/Seagate/Radarsat-2_Processing and there you should link your /media/Seagate/Radarsat-2/SLC folder (do you use linux or windows?) – and in Sarproz when…[Read more]

I just solve my problem. Now, I can understand why the SAR image (Refl.map) like that.
Thanks very muchBest Regards,

Hi Ana,
from the pictures you are attaching here I cannot see your problem.
Did you generate the kmz file of the Reflectivity Map? Only with that kmz you can see if your image has been geocoded well.
Please consider one factor more: for precise geocoding, you (the software) need to consider also the external DEM.
if you geocode the reflectivity…[Read more] -

Dear Mr.Daniele
In your tutorial you say that if we are not really satisfied with the automatically selected point. Therefore, we are going to select one manually. Depending on the available data and the resolution, there are different strategies for selecting good tie-points for geo-coding.
For GCP point problem , I want to make sure that…[Read more]

Hi Ana
1) if you plot the GCP in geographic and in SAR coordinates, the 2 pictures will not be matching, because SAR images are plotted with the range in the vertical direction and azimuth in the horizontal one. If you want to plot the SAR image in geographic coordinates, you can press the “Mean Kml” button (in the GCP selection module): you will…[Read more]

Dear Mr.Daniele
I have some problem lists below:
1. I make GCP itself from google earth, in left-below from interest area but in Refl.map value why the GCP still in right-below of image? It looks like I don’t geocoding yet. But from your tutorial, you have not done geocoding too. I think, GCP point in Refl.map must in left-below. Am I miss some…[Read more] -

Just a couple of comments to close this topic
Ivana: thanks to your case I inserted a couple of minor corrections to provide a better match between the SAR and geographic coordinates in the Master area selection, SLC module. Pcodes are online, compiled version for windows is uploading, and the linux compiled version will be available in the next…[Read more]

The height is considered. However, what is used is the height coming with the SAR image, which is usually 1 value for the whole image. We can work at improving it. But we would need to get 2 sample images in which the shift is present and significant.
Ivana, could you share 2 images out of your case? - Load More
