        hello forum,

I’m dealing with a Sentinel-1A dateset, but the co-registration failed.

        The matlab reports :

Warning: Could not find appropriate function on path loading function handle C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2018a\toolbox\images\images\private\resampsep.mexw64>resampsep

        Attached are the error files.

How can I get the problem solved?

you need to include a lasterror.mat file

does this file C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2018a\toolbox\images\images\private\resampsep.mexw64 exist?

what is the output of “license(‘test’,’Image_Toolbox’)” at the matlab command prompt?

yes, this file exist. And the output of “license(‘test’,’Image_Toolbox’)” is 1

is this possibly a compatibility problem ?

sorry, no idea. since it’s the most recent version of Matlab, then the suggestion is to write to Mathworks reporting the error.
to temporarily solve the problem, you can use the Sarproz compiled version. you just need to launch the co-registration in the compiled version, then you can switch back to Matlab for doing the rest. The Sarproz license is the same, as long as you do not change computer/operating system.

                    Thank you for the suggestion.

But how can I’ve never used the compiled version yet. Could you please tell me how to open the compiled version, and how to luanch the co-registration in more detail ?

                    Best regards

                      Hi,

I get the same error when trying to coregister S1 images. Did you manage to solve this problem?

The error here described is currently under investigation of the Matlab support. Updates will be posted here:

                            Hi.

When I tried versions R2019a, R2018b, R2017b, Matlab sentinel-1 failed in the co-registration section. I found the correct result using R2016a. Good work for everyone.

Yours looks like a GCP problem. Chekc the documentation and the tutorials for that.
Now, what you can do is using this function https://sarproz.com/manual/geo_shifts_gui.html to correct it back
