Thank you so much for the rapid reply!
As for “estimate as well as possible the non linear model”, I wonder what’s the difference between using a non-linear model built by myself(e.g. include deformation induced by temperature or water level) and using the “smart” non-linear model?
Additionally, I know that I can use higher threshold for point…[Read more]

finally the linear model with thermal expansion is added.
By the way, the temporal coherence with index “_1” is the coherence before removing APS.
Looking forward to your reply. Thanks very much.
Best regards

Dear Prof. Daniele,
I have some questions when using APS for my dataset. I got 83 images from Jan 2017 to Dec 2018 covering a center city.
As the city has many buildings, and the images are dense in 2 years, I assume the deformation will be non-linear, and for buildings there will be thermal deformation. So I use 3 different models in APS…[Read more]

Thank you very much for your rapid and detailed answers!
1.
Cons: if your area is affected by temporal decorrelation/changes, keeping long temporal baselines will decrease the overall coherence.
For the cons you mentioned, I wonder if I individually corigester let’s say 50 images ; On the other hand, I select the same 50 images from the 280…

Hi,
I’d like to ask when I have a big dataset of 280 images, and want to process it in several subsets, can I coregister all 280 images one time, and then just select less images to form differenct subsets?
Is it correct that just keep the images I want in ‘DataSet.txt’ to get the subset combination? I’ve tried by deleting half of the dataset…[Read more]

Hello,
I have a set of data of the same area spaning 6 years, I seperate the data into 3 projects and process the data seperately. But since the data covers the same area, I want to select a same reference point for the 3 projects. Is it doable in sarproz and how to implement ?
Thank you so much for your help!

Hi,
I’d like to ask one question about unwrapping method, as it seems there’s no detailed description in the manual. What the 3 kinds of unwrapping method “standard”,”standard LS” and “standard LS LP” mean?
And how could I choose from them? do they have different cases in which behaves best?

Thank you for your kind reply.
With respect to question 3, the “previous points” you pointed to are points selected by e.g. Amplitude dispersion index in APS?
Also, I have the confusion that, since QPS make use of DS points, shall I comprehend like this: The points selected with star graph are PS points, and points selected by other kind of…[Read more]

Hello,
I have a question about change images graph. After I coregistered my stack , I want to only use connections of which the baseline are smaller than 600m. Just as the attached png shows. Therefore some imgs are not connected in the graph.
I’d like to ask can I continue with APS and MISP? will the following steps only process the connections…[Read more]

Dear Prof. Daniel,
After I read your answers, I tried some experiments with GAR to comprehend better in the past days. I got some more questions here during the experiments:1. Does GAR always behave better than MISP? And do you recommend to use GAR in most cases?
2.You mentioned GAR could detect strong movements which exceeds wavelength, I…[Read more]

Hi,
When I use the Graph Analysis module as well as read the manual, I come up with the following questions:
1. What the “Skip init Mask” means? When should it be checked?
2. As the NOTE 4 in manual says:”NOTE 4. in this module you can optionally save a time series object. However, for this purpose the atmosphere should have already been…[Read more]

Hi periz,
I have an additional question. As the manual says:“In case of 2 sensors analysis, two different Refl Maps are processed and saved. They are called respectively MeanFirst and MeanSecond”.
In case of different sensors, is it possible to generate only 1 mean amplitude image for the common AOI? How to do it ?
thank you again for your…[Read more]
