at the moment no other automatic DEM download is implemented. only SRTM.
you can anyway import your own geotiff DEM in geographic coordinates

periz replied to the topic different color in resampled version of KML scattered in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 9 months ago
when you zoom to the maximum resolution as you say you see dots and then a homogeneous blue. It means you have downsampled/filtered your data to the point that you don’t see the original points anymore. When this happens, inevitably you are comparing two different things: original data and filtered/downsampled one. If the colors don’t match the…[Read more]

can you post both colorbars?

periz replied to the topic different color in resampled version of KML scattered in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 9 months ago
Hi Mahtab,
colors are the same, but you cannot compare a continuous image with black-circled dots. The effect is obviously slightly different. Moreover, the two results are differently downsampled by googleearth. you have to look at them locally at the maximum resolution. there you will see that colors are the same

periz replied to the topic spars point selection in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 9 months ago
if you select all pixels in an area, all those pixels will be treated and exported.
you do not want all pixels in that area
you want all pixels with some additional thresholds, like temporal coherence higher than a value or whatever.
to apply multiple thresholds, use the “save selection” function in “scatter…[Read more] -

this is an other good reading: https://engineering.purdue.edu/~perissin/CE697_insar/MTINSAR.pdf
avoiding estimating the DEM error can cause a wrong movement estimation (because the topographic phase acts as noise on the phase values).
but you are right, Sentinel has short normal baselines, and if your DEM is good, you can assume most of the…[Read more] -

The short answer is: you need to take a course on the subject.
The longer answer: read this https://engineering.purdue.edu/~perissin/CE597_radar_remote_sensing/10336.pdf
and also all material you find on this website, including the papers here: https://www.sarproz.com/scientific-publications/

1. please read the forum rules about what to include in your post
2. as the message says, ur RAM is too low
3 possible workaround: do not generate jpeg files (to do this check the related option in the advanced parameters) -

It’s a network problem. Try again later. Or check if your network is behind a firewall or a proxy. You can also try to use a different connection (like from home or through a mobile device)

periz replied to the topic Issue related to MCR component cache, in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 9 months ago
The cache of the MCR component can be found in a folder similar to the following one
C:Users\AppDataLocalTemp\mcrCache8.3main_…
delete the folder and then try again, it should work.

periz replied to the topic Spatial ramp for the distribution of PS points in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 9 months ago
Spatial ramps can arise from the spatial graph integration. Such operation is weighted with the coherence of the connections. Check the coherence and check the Non-linear parameters used to set the range of reliable coherence values. Choosing carefully those parameter should help the stabilization of the integration. If that does not help, it…[Read more]

periz replied to the topic Inconsistency of results from different processing steps in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 9 months ago
Hi Paul,
there is a high number of factors that can cause the difference in the results. One of them is the reference point. Then one should check all options you used for processing. Also the outcome of the APS processing plays an important role on the final result. The topic is too broad to be treated here in a single answer. I suggest you to…[Read more] -
periz replied to the topic About coregistration, export kml not aligned with google earth in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 10 months ago
Hi Paul,
you are missing the most important things:
1. you have to process the external DEM in SAR coordinates
2. you have to choose the “orthorectified” output, in the extended data export
You also miss to tell us which satellite data you are using.
If it is not Sentinel, probably you need to select a GCP manually.
Also, search in the forum,…[Read more] -

periz replied to the topic Reference point selection in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 10 months ago
By looking at your results again, I notice that the deviation of the estimated height is particularly high: is this Sentinel? If so, the estimated residual height is not very accurate, because the normal baselines are very small. Do not get crazy with the ref point selection.
The suggested ref points are chosen also considering their phase…[Read more] -

sorry for the late answer. You are trying to import Alternating Polarization Envisat images. At the moment this particular Envisat Mode is not supported. We will include it in the near future.

periz replied to the topic Reference point selection in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 10 months ago
first of all,
velocity and residual height are two different parameters belonging to two different physical characteristics, very different from each other and usually not correlated.
then, even if the majority of radar reflections would be higher than the ground level, still, reflections would be at different height values. Unless you are in an…[Read more] -
