Hi Ana,
your result is not looking very good. How big is the area you are analyzing? can you plot the PSC graph with coherence-colored connections? Can you show us the reflectivity map and the coherence map?

Hi Santiago,
1. you choose a parameter on which you want to place a threshold (more advanced option: building your own set of points through “save selection” in “scatter plots”, and select it as a real file here)
2. you choose the threshold
3. you choose if you want to make the selection of points sparser or not. If not, place DS=0, DL=0. If you…[Read more] -

Hi Ana,
from your geocoded refl map 11.jpg, I can tell you that it is not well geocoded. It looks shifted.
The Href is at the top of your 21.jpg. Currently, you see NaN inside the text box.
To know the value of the height, you need to sketch the SAR acquisition geometry, considering the incidence angle.
Do it, it’s a good exercise for…[Read more] -

yes it can
but since not many users tried it, it would be good if you would send us a feedback after trying
thx

1. to have the points match in GE, you need 2 things
– first of all, you must have (previously) chosen a GCP that aligns your SAR data to external geographic features (as a DEM or as points selected in GE)
– secondly, if you are processing a small area, the reference point should have been previously processed in the “site processing”, and its…[Read more] -

hi ivana I cannot see it from what you have attached
you should send pictures with (taken from the small area module):
– multi image insar analysis window so that we see the options
– geocoding windows
– example of time series with problems
isn’t it that it’s in mm? -
periz replied to the topic residue values in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 11 months ago
i cannot see what u did from the screenshots…
if, as u say, nothing is ticked, u should get only residues…
next question: are u using the star graph or something else? -
periz replied to the topic residue values in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 11 months ago
we’d need to know how u computed the time series…
if u estimated and included the thermal expansion, then it’s reasonable… -
periz replied to the topic residue values in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 11 months ago
can you send us some grab-screens?
in particular, about the time series you mention and about the options you used for processing
please include also the graph you used for the analysis -
periz replied to the topic How to process SBAS-InSAR in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 11 months ago
There is nothing called “SBAS” in my software
But you have many ways to process your data and in some ways do something similar to SBAS.
E.g. select an images graph (i.e. a set of interferograms) that best suites your case
– filter and unwrap interferograms
– apply an unwrapped (UW) time series estimation
You can either follow the classic steps of…[Read more] -
periz replied to the topic GCP location error in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 11 months ago
A possible explanation is a wrong timing of the image relative to the orbital data.
Suggestion: plot the footprints of the full-frame, extract the full-frame Master and plot it.
Based on the 2 pictures, you can make a rough estimation of the shift between the real geographic location of the image and the apparent one retrieved from the orbits.
You…[Read more] -

if you start the SLC processing over again,
the Master and all previously generated files are overwritten.
Also, the Master area is set as default: center in the middle of the scene.
So, you have to set the Master area again. By the way, these operations were slightly improved recently: download the last version (or check in the updates history…[Read more] -

first very important comment
why are you using the MST?
I’d suggest you to work with the Star Graph.
In fact, you are analyzing a structure, not distributed targets.
I also suggest you not to use weights.
Try this, and then let me know.
As for the range of parameters is concerned, at the beginning you can ignore it and use the default…[Read more] -
periz replied to the topic where to find the average rate of each year in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 11 months ago
Let’s make an example:
you have processed your dataset, and you got the following outputs (after APS and sparse points processing):
– Integrated Residuals APS
– height and velocity for each PS
So, you go to sparse point geocoding and the sw opens up the “sparse points processing” window asking you to input the processing options. Then you have…[Read more] -

can you include a picture of the APS processing module, so we see which options you picked up?
tell us also which images graph you are using for the estimate -

Hi Shimin
first of all, thanks for the question, I discovered an obsolete piece of code.
DBF is in fact an old option that was supposed to be replaced by simple CSV files.
However, I discovered now that the CSV is produced only if you check the “time series” option.
If you geocode the DBF without checking the “time series” option, a DBF file is…[Read more] -

Hi Farnoosh
Residual Height = Height – External DEM
Removing an external DEM should reduce the unknown height (with “unknown height” I mean the source of the topographic component of the interferometric phase). Removing an external DEM is particularly useful in mountainous areas (the external DEM can decrease significantly the range of the…[Read more]
