periz replied to the topic APS estimation in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 3 months ago
the default value of linear deformation trend is -100 / 100 mm/year.
when you estimate the def trend in the APS processing, you estimate it between close points (the network connections). So, -100 / 100 is already a pretty big range.
in any case, if you have no previous knowledge, the histograms and all plots you get after the processing will help…[Read more] -

that’s just a matter of spatial sampling. use the scatter plots module, filter/matrix visualization function to decide how to re-sample plots. you find some examples in the tutorials

periz replied to the topic Weather Data News in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 4 months ago
The only weather variable that is actually used in an operational and quantitative way is the temperature. Temperature is used if you decide to estimate the thermal expansion from your phase time series. If you do not estimate the thermal expansion, your results won’t be affected.

from your log:

The software cannot tell you the value of the spatial coherence (the coherence map https://sarproz.com/manual/save_coher_map.html) because it is missing.
this is not going to cause any problems.

phase2height and phase2flat constants are automatically generated when needed.
if you check the log, you will find it written.1.4.2.5 is coregistration refinement and you should NOT run it in normal conditions https://sarproz.com/manual/coreg_refine.html
APS estimation (1.4.8.1) + Sparse Points processing (1.4.8.3) is the standard approach.…[Read more]

periz replied to the topic coregister two subswath(IW) sentinel-1A images in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 4 months ago
We have already answered you by email.
You have to process the two subswaths separately. And the tutorials are online.
For additional help, please contact the Sarproz people in your area. -
periz replied to the topic Sentinal1 coregistration problem in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 4 months ago
You are right, also Matlab 2017b has the same bug
You have the following options:
A) install an other Matlab version (e.g. 2017a, 2018b or any other)
B) install the Sarproz compiled version
C) keep your current Matlab version but disable the parallel pool when doing the coregistration (it means the coregistration will run on a single CPU core)

the fifth parameter that can be estimated from time series (range by default -.4 .4) is the thermal expansion.
check “estimate” and then analyze the output… -
periz replied to the topic Polar mode (9) error in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 4 months ago
this error happens because you are trying to merge 2 images consecutive in azimuth and a different polar mode (SINGLE/DUAL) is detected.
so, you should find two images (directories) dated 2017-01-30 and in one of them there are two polarization files (like HH and HV) and in an other one just one of them.
probably you deleted the polarization you…[Read more] -

You are in update mode: a Master is present and you chose to keep it. Since that Master was extracted in a given subswath, you cannot change it.
If you want to change the subswath, you have to remove the previous Master.
How to do it?
Check the “All” flag and then press “Set orbits”. The sw will warn you that it is going to delete the existing…[Read more] -

This is to confirm that this problem: “Warning: Could not find appropriate function on path loading function handle” during the coregistration is a problem appeared in MATLAB 2018a. We have informed the MATLAB support and waiting for their answer. In the meanwhile please either use an older MATLAB version or use the compiled version of Sarproz.…[Read more]

periz replied to the topic Split stack in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 7 months ago
you can change the master, so, it will work for any subset of images (just remember that the temp baselines limits are always relative to the chosen master)
an other way is to manually split your data-stack. to do that, you have to remember 3 things:
– the list of images is stored in dataset.text, DATASET_INFO folder
– the data itself is in the…[Read more] -
periz replied to the topic no linear result in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 7 months ago
Hi Antig,
the non-linear model is a time filter (the movement is smoothed out of the displacement phase). This implies a series of things: the result is more flexible and will match more the displacement phase. If the displacement has a non-linear smooth behavior, the model works great. If the displacement is noisy, the model will be more affected…[Read more] - Load More
